Each of our BACA centers has definitely gotten in the Halloween spirit this month! From trick-or-treating to roller skating, we have been busy.

Oct. 27th: Halloween Skate at Skateland

We were excited to pair up with Skateland this past weekend for a sensory friendly skating opportunity for our families. They kept the lights on and turned down the music so that the atmosphere was calm, yet fun, for the kiddos. We were there with stickers, temporary tattoos and a pumpkin craft that all children were offered. Such fun!

Oct. 29th – Boone Village Halloween Party

This event blew us away! Hundreds of trick-or-treaters arrived promptly on time for the Boone Village Halloween Party. We had people dressed as gumball machines, princesses, mailboxes, zombies – and so on and so forth. Very impressive costumes. Again, we were supplied with stickers and temporary tattoos, but just had to add candy to the mix this time around. The pumpkins in the “Pumpkins for a Purpose” were also on display outside so that as people walked by, they could make their vote.

Oct. 29th- Bounce House at BACA Hart

The kids at BACA Hart were able to bop around in the bounce house this week! There’s nothing quite like a group of kids – energized by sugar – in a bounce house. Everyone at Hart was encouraged to dress up in costume for Halloween as well.

Oct. 31st- Costumes galore!

Whether our clients were trick-or-treating or showing off their costumes, we all had a grand time. From one holiday to the next – who knows what will be in store in the upcoming months!
